The Kuneva House was founded in the 18 th century and restored in 1986. The house is an ethnographical museum which contains various items highlighting the way of life, occupations, crafts, clothing and culture of the inhabitants from Bratsigovo and the region.
The exposition is divided into three different themes: Agriculture, woodwork, and crafts. On display are photos and original cultivation instruments, items relating to the production of rose oil, since in the past the rose oil content took large areas of cultivated land not only in Bratsigovo but also in the villages of Rozovo, Kozarsko, and Biaga. Also on display are parts from the saw-mills which exist along the rivers around the town, as well as an inventory of goods from copper workshops.
The homemade crafts are represented by original objects such as wool-spinning tools, spindles, crutches, cotton-combing machines, and rug-weaving looms. In the ethnographical collection of Kuneva House the traditions and customs of Bratsigovo can be seen. Here one can find ritual cakes and breads, and three typical Bratsigovo house interiors from the various social classes.
